The Mustad Hoodlum is a heavy weight short shank hook for targeting large fish from shore or boat. The extra heavy wire is forged to give loads of strength and the long ‘ultra-point’ is slightly beaked and combined with the neat barb this helps to give good hook ups and improved hook hold.
The short shank helps to maintain a good hook hold during prolonged battles with large fish. The large eye allows it to be tied to heavy trace lines.
